Poppy, who will be 3 in June, has serious and complex cardiac conditions, meaning she has already had to have cardiac surgery at such a young age with more to come in the near future. She suffers from severe reflux, is gastrostomy-fed, and has hypermobility and joint laxity. She becomes very tired and struggles with her breathing and fighting infections.
Despite this, Poppy is happy, and loves to play with her two sisters. The family has asked us for Merlin passes so that the family can enjoy a whole year of fun before more surgery is scheduled next year.
Mum said,
“Poppy has an uncertain future, but she never lets that stop her.” She is lively, happy, and talkative. She enjoys life even though a major part of it has been in and out of hospitals. “Merlin passes will give us much needed family time together and the chance to take part in fun adventures, making memories for a lifetime, which we would be so grateful for.
