Animal lover Daisy had a stroke at a young age and now lives with the lifelong effects of this brain injury, causing mobility issues, fatigue, obsessive tendencies, and vision issues. Daisy has very limited use of her right arm and requires an electric Wheelchair to mobilise, she is also prone to epileptic type seizures.

Daisy’s Sister, NHS Nurse Faune said,

“Daisy’s wish request is to spend a day at a golden retriever farm a cause close to her heart having once owned her own beautiful rescue dog called Bailey.

She has had a lot to deal with in her short life navigating living with her condition and disabilities, yet she is always so positive! She never discusses the endless appointments; she never shows any fear or doubt she just keeps going.”

“We do not know what Daisy’s future holds, she amazes us every day with her aspirations, and we want to make sure her life is as fulfilled and full of adventure.

Daisy gives so much to everyone; she is oblivious to the impact she has on our family and the world.”

We sent Daisy and her mum to the experience and Mum wrote some lovely words for us,

“What a beautiful thing you do. Wonderful people, it’s been an emotional weekend, but it’s an absolute life-changing experience. It’s been beautiful. I’m emotional just thinking about it, but when I saw Daisy’s face. Thank you, especially Wendy and Katie, for making this an incredible, unforgettable weekend for us both. Outstanding.”
