Wendy and Katie had the privilege of attending a Christmas party with a group of young carers from Off the Record South East Hampshire in Havant today.
These young carers care for a sick family member, helping with all that is needed, including personal care, and helping in and around the home. They are absolute heroes. The Genies’ Wish gave presents of toys, books, and chocolates to the 7–11-year-olds and vouchers to the 12–18-year-olds.
Next year we will be planning a group trip for a fun-filled day; we cannot wait.
