Natasha is 37, and two years ago, her life as she knew it changed forever when she was diagnosed with cell-B lymphoma on her heart, which completely altered the course of her life. This diagnosis necessitated numerous operations, chemotherapy treatments, and radiotherapy. Natasha’s journey’s second phase started when she was diagnosed with resistant lymphoma on her right lung.
Natasha had to isolate for most of this time due to being immunosuppressed; it might have been fatal for her to contract COVID while receiving therapy. She is just now slowly recovering after the last stem cell transplant, which resulted in remission.
Co-founder Martin, who met Natasha, gave her the option to make a wish.
Natasha said,
“I wanted my wish to mean something for the rest of my life.” I chose an adult-sized rocking horse in the end since it was something I had always desired but never imagined having the opportunity to own. Horses are one of my passions, and horse riding is something I’ve been unable to do due to my illness. “I feel a rocking horse would be a perfect reminder of my struggles and the fight I’ve had to still be here today, and how fortunate I am to still be here to appreciate it.”
The Genies’ Wish also sourced Natasha some horse riding lessons at Tidmarsh Stud stables via one of our corporate supporters David & Natalie Cox of Paramount4
