Isaac, 5, has hemi-plegic cerebral palsy. He struggles with daily tasks and has to wear a splint on his leg and hand. Issac also has epilepsy and can suffer from chronic and tonic seizures.

Isaacs’s wish is to be able to swim. We sent his wish story to the Softcat Marlow office, who, as part of a new fundraising initiative, organised an event in the office. Over an afternoon, they had raised enough funds for us to grant Isaac 30 private lessons. We are very grateful to the whole team for helping us with this one.

Mum wrote to us and said,

“Isaac loves to go to the swimming pool. He is a member of the local leisure club but is unable to swim. It would mean the world to him to be able to swim like the other children he watches in the pool. We tried to teach him, but he really needs one-on-one guidance with an instructor.

We are on a council waiting list for a disabled leisure centre, but we have waited 6 months with no sign of this happening soon. We would love for Isaac to have private lessons so that he can excel at a sport he adores. “

Mum and Isaac are absolutely thrilled and have started to make plans now that they have the funds to do so.
