Heart warrior Henry, who was born with hypoplastic heart syndrome has had many open heart surgeries with more treatment to follow. Henry is is on a palliative pathway, so when the family asked us for annualMerlin passes to make lots of special memories, we were thrilled to be able to help.
Henry’s Dad James said,
“ Growing up, I wasn’t able to enjoy the childhood that many others had around me, social inclusion was missing for me. As a result, I often find myself trying to hard to fit into new surroundings. This is something I want to ensure doesn’t happen to Henry.
Having been through so much in his young life already, and with so much more to come, making memories as a family is so important to us. Now with our Merlin passes from The Genies Wish, we can take Henry on many adventures in new places. So far, we have visited the Sea-life & Shrek adventures, and we will visit his favourite, CBeebies land, as a surprise over the next few weeks. We are so grateful.”
