Sarah’s wish was to meet her favourite star, Sheridan Smith and she did just that after watching her in her new play ‘Shirley Valentine’ at the Duke Of York’s Theatre in London.
Sarah, who has the chromosome disorder 22q deletion syndrome, is a huge fan of Sheridan Smith whose career she has been following since she was 10 years old. Sarah loves David Walliams children’s books, and many of them have been made into films starring Sheridan, which Sarah watches repeatedly.
After watching the fabulous show, which really was fantastic, Sarah and get Mum were taken to Sheridan’s dressing room, where Sarah chatted with Sheridan and took lots of photos.
Mum said after:
Sarah is still buzzing with excitement and just said, “I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight.” “I’m so excited!”
“Sarah has had a very tough few years, losing her dad to cancer and then, more recently, her Nan. She experienced high levels of anxiety and depression, but watching Sheridan perform makes her very happy.
Thank you so much to the extremely talented Sheridan Smith. You were everything Sarah hoped you would be—a true star.⭐️
